This antiquity infused collection by Karyl Pierce Paxton features an 18 step finish inspired by the Patinas, Old world colors of the French Quarter, and includes hand painted designs of art. Karyl grew up on the desert plateaus of West Texas. After graduating from high school, moved to Missisispi to study art, architecture and antiques. Upon receiving a BFA in graphic design from Mississippi University College for Women, Karyl moved to New York City and attended Parsons School of Design for advanced study in fashion design. There, she created award-winning commercial and residential interiors. Meeting the demand for her custom furniture and lighting quickly became the focus of Pierce Paxton Design Studio. To meet the need for additional artists and craftsmen to produce her line, Karyl moved her business to New Orleans. Today, she creates products that are destined to become heirlooms.
Award Winning Home Furniture Designer Sergio Orozco, is a rare combination of talent, international experience and background. Born in Popayan , Colombia where he studied violin for many years, then at the age of 18 he moved to the Capital , Bogota, planning to pursue his musical studies. His goals changed, however, when he found he was developing even more serious interest in art, design and architecture. So, after two years of fine woodworking and musical instrument construction in Bogota, he moved to Europe where he travelled extensively and studied painting, sculpture and design. In 1980, he came to New York where he attended The Parsons School of Design.In 1989 Orozco established his successful design company and licensing program attractingmany national and international clients with a variety of products manufactured around the world.
